2008 Montana Marathon Training Clinic

It is that time of year again for the Montana Marathon Training Clinic!  We will have a few changes this year.  The Montana Marathon now has a 10K added to the mix.  There is now an official walking division for all of the events.  The cost this year for the training clinic will be $25, for which you will receive a 15% discount at Time Out Sports, a performance moisture management t-shirt, track workouts for runners, guest speaker presentations, and a viewing of a great motivational video.  Please stop by the store to sign up!

Runners:  Track workouts will begin June 10th at the West High track.  Leading the track workouts and weekend runs we are happy to announce college track/cross country coaches Alan King (RMC) and Dave Coppock. (MSU-B)  The weekend runs will be held Sunday mornings at 8am, starting at the Zimmerman Center at Pioneer Park.  (Virginia and Avenue E.)

Walkers are meeting every Tuesday and Thursday evening.  We will start at the new trail located at the top of Airport Road across from the airport for an hour walk.  Then, starting Saturday May 31st, we  will be meeting every other Saturday morning for our long walks.  This will include all distances and all levels.

Walkers-- Your first training session will be Tuesday, May 6th at 6:00pm.  Meet at parking lot across from airport.  Remember walkers are also welcome at all running training sessions. 

We are now offering all registered Marathon Training participants a 15% discount on shoes and clothing.  Come in and we will fit you with the correct shoes and apparel to get you to the finish line comfortably.  Mention that you are participating in the clinic to receive your discount.
