For more than 35 years, our store has been the premier source for footwear and gear for runners, walkers, athletes and everyday movers. What began as a small shop has grown into a performance-focused hub.


When Tyler and Kari Gannett stepped in as owners, they ignited a fresh spark in the longstanding legacy. Their vision is simple: deliver an exceptional shopping experience by offering world-class products and expert fitting services. The result is a store that blends trusted expertise with modern energy.

Tyler Gannett, Owner

Owner

Tyler Gannett is the owner of Time Out Sports, but his journey with the store began more than two decades earlier. After spending 10 years with the store in the 1990s, Tyler stepped away in 2000 to build a successful 23-year career in the electrical industry. In October 2024, he returned to Time Out Sports — this time as owner.

With a genuine enthusiasm for helping people find their perfect fit, Tyler thrives on the energy and connections that come from serving customers who value fitness and comfort.

Kari Gannett, Co-Owner

Co-Owner

After more than 35 years in the dental field, Kari Gannett has retired into a new role — supporting Time Out Sports alongside her husband, Tyler. Kari oversees all things behind the scenes, including digital marketing, website updates, and curating the store’s lululemon selection.

Fun fact: Kari has been part of the Time Out Sports story from the beginning — dating Tyler when he first joined the team and marrying him during his early years at the store.

Since 1994 Matt Roberts has been helping people find the perfect pair of shoes. An expert in assessing a person’s gait and alignment, Matt uses this knowledge combined with the individual’s needs to identify what products will best support your natural movements.

An avid exerciser himself, Matt knows that having the right footwear is a gamechanger — whether you’re an elite runner or simply want to walk comfortably.

Sales Associate

Braxton Roberts has been a valued member of the Time Out Sports team since 2018. Respected for his product knowledge and technical expertise, Braxton takes pride in helping every customer find the right fit — whether they’re seasoned athletes or just getting started.

Outside the store, he enjoys time at the gym, focusing on lifting and cardio. His kindness and dedication make him a trusted consultant on the Time Out Sports floor.
